Our new plants have arrived!
plantstoplant.com have kindly sent us a great selection for our front border. I can’t wait to plant them. I love the colours and textures and I really like the different grasses!
Scotland can be a bit chilly and breezy at times, so they have send us ones that will be happy in our climate.
- Carex Ice Dance
- Geum x Borissii
- Helleborus hybridus Anemone Pink Spot
- Kniphofia ‘John Benary’
- Kniphofia ‘Tetbury Torch’
- Milium effusum ‘Aureum’ (AGM)
- Ophiopogon planiscapus ‘Nigrescens’
- Stipa arundinacea (Anemanthele lessoniana)
They arrived in some genius packaging. If they did have any bumps along the way you couldn’t tell – they were well protected.
The delivery came with a helpful ‘what to do when you receive your plants’ guide. Always useful for a beginner like me! First step, stand them in water so they can have a good drink.
Here’s what they are going to look like when they are fully grown.
I’m not quite ready to plant them yet so i’ve put them in my little plastic greenhouse for now. Hopefully I can plant them at the weekend.
